Last night was just a crazy night, at times I was just pressing any button that my mouse was on, most of the night I spent on the phone with all my relatives. My brother who lives in VA has lost his house due to the tornados that took place on Monday. He was rushed to the hospital due to having chest pains, so needless to say I was just alittle stressed. But the good news is that he will be fine, but if you all could say a prayer for him and his family and all the other families who lost there homes, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks for reading!

How Many Miles Can They Go?

Well in 17 days CK and F-Train will begin a new journey to Sin City....... They will be making this long trip driving..... They are not taking a direct route, and they will be stopping in many different places. They will be taking a southern route, so it will be approximately 3300 miles.

I wish them all the luck in the world as they explore this new journey together.

The problem I have with the whole driving thing is that one of them may not make it alive, not meaning an accident or anything like that, so my question is this.

HOW MANY MILES WILL THEY TRAVEL BEFORE ONE OF THESE THINGS HAPPENS?

1. CK asks F-Train to find another way there.

2. CK opens the door and pushes him out.

3. CK puts a drug in his food to knock him out

4. CK puts duct tape on his mouth because she can't stand the sound of his voice.

5. CK rips the map up because he gave her the wrong directions.

I will be taking over/under bets on the number of miles traveled.......

Live Poker Radio is on this weekend for REAL!

Buddy, and IT have taken the show on the road and will be broadcasting the BDR show live from the Borgata the same weekend I am at the Mook! (which I cant wait for BTW)

Riggs apparently has set up a deal for the show and I can tell you all that with him behind pushing forward, that this is going to be the start of a very huge thing. I have never known the man to do anything small.

Good luck to them all!

Pimp it up for them as well please.

Americans vs Canadians!

GAME ON MY CANADIAN FRIENDS!

Has anyone ever heard of a great Canadian Chef......... Hell no!
Has anyone ever heard of a great American Chef............. Hell yes!

First let me begin by saying that I do believe Astin and Joanne are good cooks, however I believe that Riggstad and myself will win this hands down..... There is no doubt... What the Canadians fail to realize is that Riggs is my secret weapon, anything the man touches turns to GOLD! (Proven Fact) so my only advice to the Canadians is to BRING IT ON, and bring it on hard..... and one last thing "GOOD LUCK" you will need it.......... I need to say no more........

AA Noooooooooooooo GoooooooooooT

My night started out playing in the Children's Tumor Foundation Charity Event, I believe there were 400 + to start. I played 23 hands before this happens.

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4912

Then the Mookie begins, and I played exactly 10 hands and this happens:

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4913

Talk about being unlucky!

I hung around watching the rest of the Mookie.... Congrats to PirateLawyer for taking down the Mookie winning a seat into the TOC.

The highlight of my night as it is every Wednesday night is playing in the P00000000sh Fest, my record was tied last night by ScottMc so for now we will share the 8th place overall record in the 50pt fest. I won the 2nd of the night, so at least I wasn't a total loser last night. The final one was a $3.30 (90 person KO), Pvanharibo went deep taking a good amount of people out for the $0.50 KO. She was on fire for the first 25 hands. If you've never played in one I suggest that you at least try it for it is soooooooooooo much fun.

Thanks to BDR for a great show last night.

Riverchasers kicks off tonight at 9:00, Password is Riverchasers.... I hope to see everyone there.

So Close But Yet Sooooooooooo Far Away!

First let me say "Congrats to DonkeyPuncher74" for taking down the Skills Series last night....

As for me I'm starting to get comfortable with my game but yet I'm so frustrated with the fact that I have come so close twice in one week and couldn't pull off the win. I had 15 KO's last night which added to my bankroll, but the win would have been the utlimate for me.....

The hand that crippled me was this:

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4835

However I will continue to play my game and hopefully I will have a win under my belt before the BBT3 is over!

My goals for the rest of the year is to have 1 win in all the events, I already have a Skills and a Riverchasers win, so I'm halfway there.....

Thanks to BDR for the support they gave to me last night along with CK31, Kat, Zeem, Riggs, ScottMc, BamBam ,InstantTragedy and Millerd33.

I hope to see everyone tonight at the Mookie, it is a deep stack tonight and I'm looking to hopefully going deep for the 3rd night in a row........

My Quest To The Final Table!

First let me say congrats to wormmsu for taking down the MATH last night. It was an awesome final table with the showing of cmitch, Bone Daddy, jimdniacc, Hoyazo, wormmsu, and of course myself.

Although it wasn't a win, it had been the furthest I have gotten in any of the BBT3 events.

There were many key hands that got me to the final table, starting with this hand that gave me my first double up of the night.

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4782

I then got moved to a new table where there were most of the players I try to avoid, iam23skidoo, Hoyazo, Riggstad, VinNay, and KatieMother. I sat and waited for the right hand to try to increase my stack.

After Riggstad busted out, Columbo got moved to the table with a decent stack. My experience with Columbo is that he always ends up with my chips, so I had to have my guard up and play smart...

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4784

A few hands later this happened, and much to my surprise, I busted one of the best blogger players.

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4785

This was the second race in a row that I won against Columbo in a very short period of time. I guess the MATH was on my side last night!

At the end of that hand I got moved to yet another table and once again felt like, holy shit, here it goes I'm for sure going out now. Breeze81, PokahDave, cmitch, Lightning36, and DaBag are all players whose play I respect. With that being said I knew I had to play cautiously but I also needed to steal some pots in order to make it to the final table. Most important, I needed to play strong hands without backing down.

Here was my hand that brought me into the chip lead!

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4786

At last the final table!

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4787

This hand helped me get to heads up.

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/4788

Thanks to all who gave me shout outs during the final table. The support was an overwhelming feeling for me, you are truly great people...

It would be so unjust of me not to mention the people who have helped me become the player I am today: ScottMc, Riggstad, CK, Hoyazo, Surflexus, Fuel55, NumbBono, Zeem, Millerd33, and yes Waffles, for each of these players brings something different to the table which at times can be very dangerous... So thank you all for taking the time to look over my hand histories, and for taking the time to answer all my questions about this God forsaken game.

And to ScottMc... It's been great being partners with you...

I hope to see everyone at the Skillz Series tonight.

RIVERCHASERS!

Is the country's fastest growing amateur poker tour, conducting fun and exciting free-to-enter No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournaments in bars and restaurants across the country.

Riverchasers Entertainment was founded with the idea of bringing the look and feel of a professional tournament to the venues, giving novices and seasoned players alike the opportunity to play in a large tournament atmosphere every week without a buy-in at their local bars and restaurants.

They run no-limit tournaments just as they are run in casinos across the country or as you've seen on TV...no speed tournaments or rebuys. When you play in a Riverchasers event, you'll feel like you're playing high stakes poker without the high stakes! The games are a great place for novice players to get their feet wet and learn the game, as well as for more seasoned players to polish their skills in live competition against a large field.

Riverchasers has 3 different regions, Eastern, Central, and New Jersey along with the online tour. The eastern region curently has 52 games throughout the week, Central has 47 games, New Jersey is fairly new with 4 games a week and they are in the process of expanding that, plus the thursday night online game.

Each Riverchasers venue offers a prize for first, second and third place finishers, and they track points awarded for top finishers across all of our venues under their Player Ranking System. Top ranked players each quarter are invited to compete in our Tournament of Champions, where the sponsors provide fantastic prizes for the top finishers...including a seat at the 2008 WSOP Main Event for our 2008 Grand Champion!

In addition to the Player Rankings, the website provides Forum Boards and a Chat Room for players to talk about all things poker, as well as a Calendar of Events and an Announcements Page to help players keep up with Riverchasers happenings and new game locations.

If you haven't become a registered member, what are you waiting for? Registration is free and allows you access to all areas of the site!

A WIN IS A WIN!!!!

First and foremost I would like to congratulate Hoy on his first BBT3 victory. As most of you all know Hoy is one of my favorite blogger players and if I'm ever in a side bet, you can be sure that my money is on Hoy.

Before the BBT3 even got started and bloggers were picking who they thought would win a seat, I had made a sidebet with another blogger for $100.00 that Hoy would take down one of the seats before the BBT3 was over. Well after he posted the win last night I sent an IM to this individual and said SHIP IT! Well can anyone say the word "RENEGE"...... This individual is claiming that because it was a chop that it really wasn't a win. For anyone who watched the final table once it got down to 3 handed, you would know that Hoy dominated the table, so there was no doubt in my mind that even if there wasn't a chop that he would have come out victorious, hell before the Skills started I was feeling a good outcome that Hoy would be there until the end.

So with that being said, I have to say to the "RENEGER" keep your money because apparently you need it more than I do, and remember this word "KARMA".

I would like to give a "shout out" to CK for cashing, great job lil sis..........

Congrats to Riggstad, Instant Tragedy and Buddy Dank for taking the radio show to the next level, with starting up their new venture "Live Poker Radio" there is no doubt from many of us that this will be a great success, so from my mouth to God's ears.......BOOOOOOOOOM.

I hope to see everyone at the Mookie tonight starting at 10:00pm, password: vegas1

Sometimes It's Better To Lose and Do The Right Thing, Then To Win and Do The Wrong Thing!

If all my wonderful blogger friends could give me some input on this hand I would really appreciate it. I had the lead most of the Mookie with not good results...... I know that you would need to see my whole hand history to evaluate how I played over all, but I'm just looking for input on this hand for it is the one that took me out of the Mookie. Give the Guy Some Credit

It's been an interesting couple of days in the poker world. My husband, ANIguy, has cashed twice in the last two blogger tournaments. Last night he finished 2nd in the
Skill Series to Loretta8, and the night before he finished 7th in the MATH.

ANIguy drives me nuts sometimes. Probably more nuts than how some of you react to his girly chat comments.

But here's what pisses me off.

Nobody has been giving him an ounce of credit for actually knowing a bit about poker.

Now I know that Waffles is all fired up about ANIguy hitting a card on 7th to give him a big pot and busting him from the Skill Series, which is what a lot of you seem to be focused on, but if you read through the comments, it's clear that the top finishers in the tournament hit the right cards at the right time to get to the end. LJ even discussed how she was on the bad end of some hands, but on the good end of some others.

To quote LJ: oh well, it was pretty fun, and i'm sure i had some hot suckouts of my own along the way.

You should all know by now (and if you don't know this, then you're delusional) that you have to get lucky a couple of times in the course of a tournament to be able to make a deep run. Sometimes the cards fall your way, sometimes they don't. If you can't accept that part of the game, then you will be a miserable person every time that you play.

But the other side of the coin is that if all you can rely on is luck, you're never going to be consistent enough to do well over the long haul.

So this gets back to my main point.

It's about time someone gives ANIguy some credit.

On BDR last night, he was referred to as a mere "suckout artist."

A lot of you might not know ANIguy, which may be why he wasn't getting much love last night or the night before, but he's a good person.

Except when he pisses me off.

But I just want to tell you that he's a decent player. Not a pro, but not a complete donk either.

Remember, he's the one who overcame a 6 to 1 chip deficit against Waffles in the Stud-8 Skill Series event a while ago. The event where Waffles could have won naked pictures. If Waffles ever needed any motivation to play his game, I'm guessing naked pictures would be at the top of the list.

HURT PEOPLE, HURT PEOPLE!!!

Hurt people, hurt people." In other words, people who hurt others with their actions and words are people who are hurting inside themselves! When someone lashes out at another person, they are expressing their hurt in a destructive and irresponsible manner. Feelings of hurt and pain are normal parts of everyday life. Therefore, it is important to find solutions to our problems that are constructive and responsible in order to enjoy the pleasures that life has to offer, as well.

Feelings never tell us what to do. They only tell us that something requires our attention. So negative feelings can play a positive role in our lives. We must put ourselves in control of the painful emotions rather than be controlled by them. The first step in taking control is to ask the question, "What is causing these feelings?"

Sometimes the cause of the feelings is from recent events-job loss or health decline. Other times, the cause is a manifestation of negative emotion from long ago-unresolved issues of adolescence. Take the time to ask the question, think, and seek answers. This is important whether you are the one who is angry or the one who is on the receiving end of an angry person's wrath.

Hurt people can only hurt others if allowed to do so. With adults, know that you can judge the size of a person by the size of the things that they allow to make them angry. Yes, we've all had initial feelings of hurt as the result of others' actions and words. But, when we take a moment to really look at the situation, all of us have the power to draw the line and refuse to accept another's hurt.

Remember that people say and do boneheaded things from time to time without thinking. People forget, lose their tempers, underachieve by our standards, break promises, cheat, lie and do other things that disappoint us. Make allowances for people's differences. Human beings make errors. Values amongst us are varied. If you keep your standards very high, you are subject to be more sensitive around people with low standards. If you have low standards, you will feel offended and slighted by those who have high standards. That said, the bottom line is this: when someone is hurting someone else, they are acting from a place of pain and hurt. Diminish the hurt to make room for enrichment. Instead of hurt people hurting people, you then have enriched people enriching people.

And I will lay down upon thee, great vengenance and furious Anger!

I've been thinking more and more about this. That is the poser who took my name, Donkette, and opened an account on Bodog.

I remember a while back Riggs IM'ing me saying congrats for doing well in the Bodog. This was like 4 months ago. Then Don did the same.

At first I thought cool... someone is using my name. But then I remembered that back at that point, I was still considered pretty much a horrid player. why would someone take my screen name on Bodog. I know it wasn't mine there, because I hadn't opened an account, but obviously, it was a blogger, because they were playing in the blogger event on Bodog.

The more I think about it the more I get pissed. Really pissed. I mean, c'mon you hack. Show your face. Man up and tell me at least that you were just having fun.

But if that is the case, why haven't I been told yet? I started blogging, what, a month ago? A lot of you are helping me with my game, I'm having a fun time blogging, and I feel like I have made some pretty good relationships, and now welcomed into a community which I adore...

But Donkette on Bodog? This is your last chance to fess up. Tell me who ripped off my name. I can only take offense to it being that it was done and no one admitting it to this point.

Surely some of you out there know who this poser is. Won't someone enlighten me as to why or who took it.

Imagine if someone logged on to bodog with alcanthang, before the real Al did, or Joe Speaker, or Highonpoker...

For now, I will reserve my anger and assume it was flattery, but if you will not show your face, and admitt it was you... I can only assume it was done in an insulting way.

Am I wrong?

Will the Real Donkette Please Stand Up?

It started out with a girly chat message from MiamiDon.

"Hey Donkette, you're at my Bodonkey table."

I knew I was playing poker online that night, but I was trying to remember if I ever opened up a Bodog account.

Maybe it was that day I decided to take my poker game to the next level. Trying to see as many hands as I could. Besides, I love playing with the bloggers, so I figured it would be fun.

At first, I decided to play the Bodonkey on intuition. Not even really thinking about the cards, but just putting my mind to making the right moves at the right time.

Well, last night, I think it might have worked.

I'm not really sure though, because after I got knocked out of the Skill Series, I walked away from my computer for a while.

I still had Buddy Dank radio playing, and I could hear them talking about me at the final table of the Bodonkey. I didn't recall seeing less than 4 cards in my hand all night, but maybe I just forgot that I was playing in that too.

Next thing I knew, the Bodonkey was down to VinNay and Donkette heads up. Wow! I wasn't sure how well I had been playing up to that point, but I decided to walk back to my computer to check out the action.

IT was rooting for me on the radio, so I didn't want to disappoint him.

The funny thing is that I didn't have any hole cards to look at. The computer was making me play my hands blind. What kind of crappy software is that? Even though I couldn't see the hole cards, I had a feeling of what those cards were.

At the end of the day, Donkette took second in theBodonkey!

I can't really go into hand histories or screen shots because for some reason, my computer didn't store them. I am still scratching my head as to how Donkette took second in the tournament when I didn't even click on my computer a single time.

I've heard some stories about out of body experiences, but this one really takes the cake.

Did I really take second place in the Bodonkey? Or do I have a twin out there somewhere?

Will the real Donkette please stand up?
